A brain-boosting agent, date is known to help in memory and learning. 4. Dates prevent diseases such as diabetes, Alzheimer's, anaemia, macula degeneration and certain types of cancer. That is, because dates contain phenolic acid, carotenoids and flavonoids. Additionally, since dates are comprised of phosphorus, magnesium, calcium and potassium, they tend to strengthen the bones. 5. Dates are natural sweeteners that can replace white sugar in cooking. They are responsible in regulating blood-sugar level.
